You can see that this light in the main blue and red light band is very good to meet our planting requirements, in the 500 to 600 this band is a little unsatisfactory, we had better add a low power HPS high-pressure sodium lamp, or CMH metal halide lamp to make up for it.
3.1 Let's first measure the spatial distribution of the light quantum flux density of this lamp.
We placed the measuring mesh cloth with the dimensions I had drawn before directly under the light, and then measured the quantum flux density of light at each point on the mesh cloth by setting the distance between the light bead and the mesh cloth as 12 inches, 18 inches, and 24 inches respectively.
The whole process is quite complicated, constantly changing the position and height. I have sorted out the specific measurement values for you and marked them directly on the measuring grid. As shown in the following three pictures.

Let's take the data from the above three measurements, and from the side view, we can make the following conical light distribution map.
The simple calculation method of how much area a plants planting lamp can cover is to find the distance between the boundary and the center point of the photosynthetic effective light quantum flux density (PPFD) value of 150 mol/m2s, which can meet the lighting demand of plants seedling period within this radius.
We used a medium-size pot with a square cut in the growing season. The pot size was 11 inches (27.94 cm). From the above data, although the intensity of this light is high, the ability to gather light is too strong, so the coverage area is not particularly large, so if you are a large planting area, you need to arrange a lot of these lights.
So I suggest, when large area planting, the best with an HPS high-pressure sodium lamp or CMH gold halide lamp so can make up for this defect.
